Flood Relief: Faith in Action, Hope in Every Hand

When relentless monsoon rains caused devastating floods across Pakistan, destroying homes, livelihoods and vital infrastructure, the Diocese of Raiwind joined the Church of Pakistan’s urgent appeal for prayer, solidarity and practical action. Through the generous support received from our partners and friends, the Diocese provided essential assistance to flood-affected families within its communities, including food supplies, baby food, women’s hygiene and sanitation kits, and other urgently needed relief items. Clergy and pastoral teams also stood alongside displaced and grieving families, offering prayer, counselling and compassionate care. This response reflects our Christian calling to be present with the vulnerable—not only in words, but through practical love that restores dignity, strengthens hope and helps communities move towards recovery. We remain deeply grateful to every partner, congregation and individual whose generosity enabled the Diocese to bring the light and comfort of Christ to people facing some of their darkest days.
